I've been foot to the floor in 4low and even bang shifted it in low plenty of times. It's not usually that kind of stuff that breaks them. Bigger tires and tight turns is hard on them, combine that with articulation and they snap. I don't break them regularly or anything, but manual hub axles are rarer to find so I hoard some, I also have spare manual hub bodies and dial assemblies.

A guy I wheeled with on here and knew in person sold me his used OEM ones for $200...didn't know any better at the time this was a couple years ago almost. I installed one of them and the thing blew a week later in Big Bear, I was not amused. Luckily the other has held up in its place since. But yeah $80 is a smoking deal.

You should be able to feel play in them yeah, kinda like a u joint going bad. Being oem toyota though if they aren't completely broken and the boots are good I'm betting they're just fine

About an inch and a half. Could have gone higher if I put new body mount bushings in. But still almost nothing hangs below the frame anymore.

I got rid of the trans mount entirely. That thing you see in the pic holds the tcase, trans, and engine at whatever angle I want. I have poly engine mounts too so the drivetrain doesn't twist anymore, it's all very rigid.

Well I know what a broken one feels like...it wobbles and swings around like a giant cat toy. It's pretty obvious when they're busted.

I’m fine everyone. I power washed the leafs and I’m letting them try. And then I told myself “I already have the power washer out, why not clean the 5-lug frame?” And then I saw my poor dirty skid plates leaning against the house, and then I saw my dirty folding table.

TL;DR - I washed the contents of my driveway.

Nah, no one believes me but it idles, and highway cruises better than stock. It's only vibratey around when you lug in gear around town. I love my solid mounts, I thought it was gonna be bad too originally but it is just amazing. And I don't have to worry about 4 low ripping an engine mount causing me to destroy my fan or radiator anymore.

True and you have an auto so your truck already feels detached, in manuals the drivetrain wanders around so much from the direct torque, taking off you'd watch the drivetrain flop over then the truck started to move. Yours probably does that simultaneously cause the auto puts power down slow.
