Thats actually a job I am always more than willing to pay someone else to do. Mainly cause I only have 2 jackstands that I trust haha. Other 2 are the elcheapos from the autozone store brand. Super tiny and I need an entire tree stump to put them on so they can reach my frame haha.

I do mine usually even though I get free ones from Americas Tire for buying my tires there...they're just always packed and a rotation usually involves waiting half the day.

I just put one front corner on jack stands, remove that tire and lift the rear diff and remove the opposite corner tire...swap then repeat for the next two.

Wish my spare had a matching wheel so I could do a 5 tire rotation though

So you swap sides the tires are on? I was always taught to keep them on the same side and just swap front to rear. :notsure:

I always do an X rotation but some people do it your way too, IDK I've never had any issues with it.

I just looked it up and it says on Google for 'non directional' tires to use the cross X method, if they're directional its better to keep them on the same side.

I thought it had something to do with radial vs bias ply tires. Radial= rotate like an X, Bias = keep same side. Again, probably doesnt matter though. Especially in your case since 35000 miles on your tires is about all you'll see Id assume.

Ha yeah if I'm lucky. They usually get replaced due to chunking before tread wear. At least with my past KO2s.

No reason not to invest in a good set (4 or more) if you're going to be doing any kind of DIY work. Especially if it's lifted. I ended up ordering a couple of sets of these prior to the OME kit.

    Screenshot_20191226-192449.jpg

Will be honest though, considering a couple of these HF jackstands for the height factor (up to 30"). Those torin 6 ton stands still work but they are damn near on the max setting (up to 23")

I like the HF 6 ton stands, I have two that I use most of the time. I have a few Craftsman 3 ton stands as well that work well for the rear axle but not tall enough to use up front.
