Fuck that was a long drive....4hrs 45 min estimated from the beginning. 7 hours later were home lol. Damn holiday traffic. Grapevine mountains were blanketed in snow, don't see that very often

I spent too much time in church as well. Not a fan of the catholic church after being in catholic school from kindergarten till I graduated from highschool, but the morals are sound

See the southern baptist way is just...better. Communion every other month, church from 11 to 12:15 every week. No sunday school unless youre old and your church is old haha.

Well according to Catholics as long as you were baptised you have a spot in heaven provided you say you're sorry at the pearly gates when you die. That's my backup plan in case it turns out they were right all along lol

I've done a mod or two
That's some easy cop out nonsense. The hell is the point of being a guilty hardass if it's just as easy as getting dunked in the Lord's hotdog water and saying you're sorry at the end.

I should probably get baptized lol

Yeah thats the total opposite of what I believe. Faith is either all in all the time, or none at all.

I mean they'd probably describe it in a much more complicated, nonsense filled way but that's the jist of it

But yeah can't hurt to get baptised just in case lmao.

We won't be baptizing our daughter, I know it'll upset my side of the family but luckily my wife wasn't raised religious like I was so she's completely against it anyway. I figure if she wants to do it later in life on her own accord then more power to her, but we won't be pushing that on her

Hence why i lost faith in the catholic church, i saw so much hypocrisy it was sad. I have my own faith, and its about being a good person. I dont need to go to church to be that person, but dont hate on those that do. To each there own.
