Did Christmas with my friends and their kids this am. They got me this among some really other good gifts including an impact extension set and a shirt that says "I'm judging your welds"

Gonna order a timing belt kit since I'm coming up on that (87k miles right now)

I know the aircabinman kit is what's most recommended on here, anything less ideal about the Aisin kit? It's a good $100 cheaper though it looks like it doesn't come with a few things the aircabinman kit on eBay has. Think the Aisin one is just the timing belt and water pump, the aircabinman kit comes with a new thermostat and all new pulley belts

I don't have any issue pulling the trigger on the aircabinman kit, just wondering if it's really that much better than an Aisin kit since my other belts are all relatively new and to my knowledge the thermostat is still in good shape.

edit - looks like the aircabinman kit is all genuine OEM parts with camshaft and crankshaft seals too, more complete of a kit. Looks like the better buy

fek noticed from the pics my passenger headlight looks like it has more of a gap at the top versus the driver's. I'm so confused how that's possible tho bc there's 2 side bolts and one towards the middle of the truck. IDK if that's fixable bc IDK how i'd adjust that, but the beams line up well. Probs will just leave it for now

yeah the dealer stuff around here is overpriced (surprise) and not much to choose from. Looking at some of the options on eBay and Amazon many have poor reviews for crappy graphics that fall apart or bleed in the wash. Found a couple that looked promising that I got for xmas, washed the TEQ one already and it held up well

Just sold my 04 Ram. Was asking $6k, sold for $5500 so I'm pretty happy with that. There are a couple T4Rs on CL in the range but I might wait for a little bit. I do have someone interested in the track bike that I'm hoping to hear back from after New Years.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
At the time I bought mine, I think the Toyolex kit cost a few dollars more than aircabinman. Now I see aircabinman must have gone up to be more than Toyolex. I thought the pictures were more complete and liked the warning about fake Chinese parts. It looks like a number of eBay sellers are all selling the same kit.

It looks like its really deciding which Coke machine (and price) that you want to use for the purchase.

To me the job was about sweating the finer details on the installation and finding a way to avoid pissing off a bunch of money on one time use tools.

I ordered a new Crankshaft bolt and changed the oil cooler gasket and o-ring.
