I did it too in my green truck, nailed it with the rear and it left hair in my hitch and shackles.

I haven’t had a bad encounter with deer before, but driving through the California foothills I may have had close encounters with turkeys.

And several people wearing all black walking through downtown Oakland late at night.

Lol ya right, what’s a junk yard?

I have better luck asking him to get stuff for me out of his yards.

California is arguably one of the best states in the country for junkyards. We have such a large populous that there are such a significant amount of cars accordingly.

I live in the East Bay, I can drive one hour in any direction and have access to 5-6 different junkyards. Hell San Jose has 3.

You drive two hours to Sacramento/Rancho Cordova and you’re in the car scrapping district. There are junkyards specifically catered to Japanese vehicles, especially Tacomas.

Smaller, less densely populated states will have less junkyards and virtually no imports just based off of population density, and automobile diversity.

Living in a logging community and area in rural BC we have lots of 1 ton pickup trucks that have gone to junk yards. You can build an f350 all on scraps. Tacomas.......whole nother story.

Lots of 2WD 5-Lug and PreRunner Tacomas in the Pacific Northwest because we simply don't need 4WD here. Only for enthusiast use mainly, and occasional trips to the snow.

You go to the Mid-West and Tacomas are absolutely non-existent. Everything is a giant 1 Ton 4WD truck.
