It's still stuck there, but with the shipping company.

I should call and see if I can get it released or something.

Did they say why it's stuck there? Wonder if they just don't have anyone around that can or wants to move it lol

:luvya: I manhandled all 100lbs of mine on...even if it did take 6 hours

actually getting the damn stock bumper brackets off was a good 2 hour chunk of that, be forewarned those are a bitch to access the bolts for...on the pass side anyway

The AP instructions made it look simple because their truck had a K&N installed which opened up all kinds of room there, the stock intake nearly completely blocks a couple of the bolts

More than happy to pick it up. I'll need to go back home for about an hour or so before bringing it down to you.... :tumbleweed:

    It's pretty heavy...180lbs

I just got off the phone with the vendor as they gave me the shipping company's number; apparently due to some road closures (probably the ones I live and drive on) they haven't attempted delivery yet.

Since it's freight, they said I need to schedule an appointment for delivery which I'm doing now.

    What I should've said -

More than happy to pick it up. I'll need to go back home for about an hour or so before bringing it down to you.... Not sure why yours looks a little banged up. Might want to call the carrier about that ;):anonymous:

Glad its going to be on its way soon though.

Use a floor jack with a plank of wood on it to support the bumper. I didn't have any 2x4s at the time and used a brick which made things...precarious...to say the least lol.

Depends on the bumper too, the AP fortunately is flat on the bottom so if you get it on the jack just right it will balance itself. If the bumper you're installing won't balance on the jack you'll probably need someone else to at least keep it from falling off the jack while you're placing it.

Yet you posted about figuring out how to take the RTT off your truck :luvya:

You saw how short I am, I turtled that bitch off my truck when I dropped it off at my storage, by myself.

Get yourself a floor transition, they make them in hardwood to hide the gap between tile and wood.

not 180lbs. Don't care what the specs say. Maybe with packaging. It's not even 100lbs. Probably on the order of 75ish.

It was a lot easier getting the RTT off than it was getting on I will say that...getting it on without sliding it across the rack and scraping the hell out of it was not fun. Getting it off was a lot easier
