My parents redid our house in vinyl plank. I hate it to a degree. Mainly cause the house is always freezing now. If Im in a position to choose, my future home will be mostly carpet with wood/vinyl in certain rooms.

I think it depends on how wide and far back the bumper you're installing goes. I had to remove both of mine per AP instructions but the fender is still solid. Only one of the bolts attached to the fender iirc, still another 7(?) bolts holding the fender in. I can't remember exactly from when I replaced my fender last year but there were at least 6 bolts total for it

just follow tim's video for the most part EXCEPT cutting - 02-04 doesn't have to do that. On a 01, you might I can't remember. I'll check the docs I have to confirm.

still many holding it. but theres only the one i can remember for the front of the fender (not a huge deal since your bumper pretty much protects it

It's the complete opposite here. Everything is built on a slab, I don't think I have ever been to a home here with a basement.

I put mine on in 2017 with a lot less knowledge of first gens and vehicles in general. Those instructions really sucked.

I didn't mount mine flush with the fender to allow room when flexing things out. So I did better than the shop that put my father's ARB on his 08.

Our house isn't just built on a slab, it's built on a post-tension slab with high tension cables running through it. Earthquake alley, so these post-tension slabs hold up better in a disaster.

They're tensioned to something like 8,000 PSI according to the civil engineer who told me about it, it'll cut a person in half THROUGH the concrete if you drill into it. There's a big stamp on our garage that says "DO NOT CUT OR CORE"
