Uhhhh been a looooong time. I'm nerdy enough to where I don't need to verify even more nerdiness with pics of that.
But got it in Port Orchard WA. Started cub scouts in VA though. My mom pushed me pretty hard and helped tons by setting the appointments and following up and crap. Hell I was a 14 or 15 yr old kid. Took a lot of effort from Mom and she really should get at least half the credit.

 

Where was the Jamboree held where you received the Order of the Wilderness? Being Called out by Savage Indians on the Yorktown Battlefield and dropped in the woods alone for days was an honor back then.

I completed Wilderness Survival but was denied the Arrow patch after attending Jimi Hendrix and Creme concert at the Mosque in Richmond. The paperback copy of "Catcher in the Rye" found on my person didn't help either. Congratulations on being an Eagle Scout.

Just saw a trailer and behind the scenes of '1917' and that looks like an incredible movie

 

Taking all the wrong turns SEEMS to be my forte but it's led to memories of adventures and left me with stories worth a listen. My Corporate inclined family said my life was being wasted but has softened over decades to a life well lived.

 

I remember Catcher being required reading somewhere back there. Though, Jack Kerouac's Beatnik books may have been pushing the envelops.

 

I watched a pirated 1080p version of .1917 last night on Android TV. liked "Dark Waters" more

 

Yeah Catcher was required reading for us, had to be early 90s. Fantastic read. Not sure who the other one you listed is, in all honesty. I'm kinda cultured but apparently not that much yet. Lol, I've read tons but it was all John Grisham, Michael Crichton, some Dan Brown, I guess I kinda quit reading fiction. When I had to live adult lifestyle and become an adult
