    What all are you having replaced? Thats not bad if its a total gut job. New coilovers, ball joints, tie rods, sway bar links?

    monroe strut/coil/mounts assemblies
    LBJs
    alignment

    the LBJs alone are more then $500 including non OEM parts :bananadead:

    i can now see why lots do this themselves with appropriate tools

    Sounds fair to me. $350-$400 for the struts, $150 for the lbj's, $80 for an alignment. So without labor, shop fees, and taxes, thats $630 in parts. Probably 4 hours labor, so another $400. That adds up to $1030. Then another $100 for taxes and shop fees/supplies. So yeah $1100-$1300 is right.

    I don't even talk about firearms at all in the work place though there is 1 person that knows I have a CCW; he has one too but he's not even at work today.
