no idea if my JY motor ever had one done so I can assume it has about 160k on the factory one. It's time though. Water pump is seeping

 

When I went to start it this morning, sounded like shit and I noticed RPMs were @ normal idle. You know how when you first start when cold and the RPMs are at like 1k+ for a few moments while it starts to warm? This morning was the first time its ever sounded different. Shut it off and went to restart, died instantly. Again, started and still sounded like crap.

Oil level fine, oil fine - everything seems ok. Belts are fairly new, maybe a year old or so.

Once at operating temp, sounds gone and idling normal. Under load seems fine as well. Starts right up.

Weird.
