That and $5 rad cap after 3 OE cap failures. Was given 3rd gen rad caps.

You serious? That's funny stuff there! I'd be pulling my hair out. Well actually I would've noticed the part number was incorrect after double checking the second 'bad one'. Just cause a part is oem doesn't mean it's the right part lol

I mean I love em, but we're not talking about if we love em. We're talking about a more than double the value markup that people are willing to pay for these old things. Blows my mind. But keeps my tacoma's value high for me

 

For 13 grand I'd be more inclined to buy a diesel with over 200k miles. I would say it's bad if his truck had under 100k and was more like 11-12k.

 

The part #s matched the one he was running when leaks at hose ends started. You were there you should know The $5 rad cap was 1st gen aftermarket and overflow was mud dauberred shut

 

I went to America’s Tire and they patched my tire for free.

 

Probably a good chance they’re sprung.

get new ones. They wear out over time. But do not use worm

Good to hear from someone that sees more of those clamps than I do. I've never had one lose enough tension that it wouldn't seal off. I've been curious to know if they do. And that answers it.

 

Already ordered and received. Been sitting in my parts box for a bit now. They definitely have more tension than the originals.

 

We dont have those here unfortunetly. There is a local chain that I'll take my flats to have plugged. Free if I print off the coupon.

I've got a plug seal at home, but I was told by @Speedytech7 that the tire shop versions of the patch are superior.

Sleep has been good the last few days...since we got her a basinette that goes in the bed with us she sleeps soundly when we do. Aside from waking her up to feed her a couple times per night we've been sleeping pretty well...knock on wood
