Dude, 20 years ago(I know, old man rant) I got 2 pairs of Clark's, the classic ones from England, absolute by far the most comfy shoes and I walked miles daily in them. They are resoleable if I send em off to a cobbler somewhere. Anyways, I ordered a new pair and they started making em in China or some bullshit and they suck. Wtf. I need to send my old ones to a cobbler. The old leather is still beautiful and thick and soft. The new crap..... Whatever. They lost a customer, they don't care obviously or they wouldn't have moved manufacturing. Too many companies put money made over quality of output. And that's life I guess, moving on
Was these, the Natureveldts. Best shoe I've ever worn, including boots, tennis shoes, etc

Yeah, that sounds exactly like the story.
Don't even get me started on my Chacos(made in Colorado) from 20 years ago outlasting my newer lightly used Chacos(China of course). Ridiculous. When we find quality we gotta scream it. People looking for quality stuff and it's hard to find in this day where all is manufactured to look like quality. Deceiving af. The old adage 'Gotta do your homework' is truer now than ever before.

No rub that Ive noticed. Did a short 100 mile haul and they feel great. My speedometer is spot on with a GPS. Used to be 2-3mph faster than what I was actually going.
