240z is the only z i have interest in. the others are fun. but im not a HUGE nissan guy.

 

once the tundras sorted im seriously considering selling the avalon to put some money towards getting the taco done.. i dont know.. i love that car.. but its also a boring old person car.. Hoping my mother just wants to buy it from me and she can get rid of that damn ford. the avalons a creampuff.

 

yeah if you don't need it, which you don't, sell it.

I have to go prius shopping soon. Wife wants to retire her daily and move into a Prius or a Leaf. Not going to be any Nissans in my driveway so it'll be a Prius. The camry I think is also going to go away soon. I can't locate an aftermarket cat and the toyo exhaust man is 1k (25051-28180). Nope. As much as I like that little workhorse car, not sinking a grand into it @ 280k.

 

The prius is a good car.. you should see the taxi cabs that come in to work.. 300k is easy in a prius with minimal maintenance.


just get the Battery intake filter from toyota (they'll look at you funny. but it exists.. and keep the battery intake clear and clean and they battery will last a long time.

 

the big thing with the avalon is its a great Road trip car and the 30 mpg on the highway makes it nice to keep around... i dont drive the corolla.. i let my father drive it to keep miles of the 02. (and gas 42 mpg vs 20...) hes doing 150 miles a day. soo it adds up.

oh absolutely. My father-in-law drives a Prius C (2012 I believe). Anyway, the thing kept throwing the filter error. I told my brother-in-law, just wait until the weekend, I'll deal with it. What do they do? Take it into toyota and get charged a couple hundred bucks for what - for the tech to vac out the little grille/intake on the backseat?

My father has been driving around a 2013 Prius V and he loves that thing lol.

the only thing that confuses me with the Prius - all the damn packages they had - and they changed each year it seems.

 

i hear they bought my dealer out.

All his shit was taken by someone because they thought he wasnt going to make it.. never did get all the photos back. just have the ones that he had saved to a memory card that he kept with him
