we're just giving you shit man, the fact that you converted a 4x2 to 4x4 by yourself with little to no prior automotive experience is card you play over just about anyone here...definitely over me lol.

I'm hoping to be able to tackle my timing belt on my own (with help, hopefully) come Fall and I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions. If that goes well maybe I'll give my clutch a go...

He probably bought it from some gardeners. It's got like 450k on it, it's done lawn maintenance in its lifetime I guarantee it

Same. I'm worried to do my timing belt by myself so I'm gonna enlist a buddy to help. Did my lift myself but didn't do UCA's. Did my clutch with a buddy and it was easy enough, but still not sure I'd tackle it solo. Just flipping shit

If you don't give your friends shit, are they really your friends?

okay, maybe online-acquaintances is more appropriate, not all of use have met in person...

I did the timing belt by myself. Took a solid weekend, but I was being super careful and was constantly be interupted by family stuff.

    If I can do it....

It's a huge game of trial and error. I just started removing things until the transmission came out. You learn through your mistakes!
