Throwback to week 1 of owning the flatbed. Previous owners were idiots.

The local yard has a lot of 00-04 Tundras. A couple double cabs. Can't remember specifics and I deleted my door sticker pictures but every Tundra in that yard has a RS3200 system.

you need the one from a access or regular cab. doube cab systems are Body ecu controlled. Not integration relay like the tacos and access/reg cab tundras

Ive got the Karr alarm system on mine, it's alright. Doesn't ever act up so that's good.

I'd like that for the 4Runner. I ordered up an Android head unit today with some other stuff. Gunna see if I can install that this weekend and have it work.

    Kind of.

It runs great but I still need to do the timing belt/waterpump/fan belt. I've also royally fucked up a couple of the skid pan mounting holes and need to figure out how to fix them. Rivnuts won't work since there is a nut welded inside that I discovered AFTER drilling them out. Already broke one tap trying to helicoil one of the holes and ended up making it larger than the intended M8 bolt size, so I need to find some kind of insert that I can stick in there to neck it down to M8 again. Then there are 6 more holes that will need to be addressed for the skid pan. I also don't have working HVAC lights, tried LEDs but the 4R is fucking weird and has a couple lights there that are 6v. Waiting on a replacement hose for the power steering reservoir so I can tear into that again and make a big fucking mess. Still need to change out all the gear oils in the front, rear and center (tcase) diffs. and also do a fluid swap on the tranny. Then I had to order new front DRL/turn signal housings cause the originals are cracked and let water in from rain and kill the turn signal bulbs. Got duct tape covering the worst of it till the new housings get here.

But it still runs and drives pretty nice. New plugs should have me into the 18mpg range too. The Taco saw that going downhill with a tail wind, once.

The braces that the plate mounts to come off with 17mm bolts. You can replace them or weld new nuts on.

Thank you, yes I do. That "should" fix the royally fucked up hole. Hopefully I can tap the rest of them without breaking another tap and install helicoils. The skid bolt holes are notorious for stripping out on the 4th gen 4R I guess.

Which braces? The one with the royally fucked hole is the bottom of the radiator support with the factory tow hooks welded to it. I didn't look that close but I don't think that comes off.
