The little main street in our town does a farmers market/street vendor fair every Friday night so the wife and I usually do that and get drinks or dinner while we're there

Then come home, have some beers and watch more Schitts Creek... started that one a few nights ago and its hilarious

New 3rd gen thread complaining about how awkward it is to put on the seat belt... wonder how long it takes until it ends up in the Dumbgen forum

I saw that one yeah...he really F'ed up the side of a brand new truck. I've seen other 3rd gens with similar trail damage in person but usually they're way more built up and doing trails you'd expect to get dinged up on...it looks like he made a poor driving decision on an easy trail with a near stock truck.

He should either get it fixed or just add a bunch of armor and 35s to his truck so the damage at least makes more sense lol.

I remember we talked about it a bit on here around Xmas time. Smooth valve covers.... Courtesy of @buckmaster243 here are pics of a 95.5 engine... So it's just early 95.5s that had these

I think he said he was messing around on some farm/field and slid into a tree more than once haha. Not even a trail lol.

The thing is, none of that damage is in easy to fix/replace spots so its gonna be serious money to get it fixed. Id be emotionally destroyed, but then again I wouldnt wheel a brand new truck. Heck, Ive only taken my 04 offroad once, and it was the bunny hop trail haha.

It is amusing to see when someone makes a trail damage thread in the 3rd gen section and to read the replies from others...people get so appalled by the slightest things lol. Saying how sick they'd be if it happened to them, etc

I mean he really did do a number on his brand new truck but that'll happen to some degree to anyone eventually if you spend enough time offroad.

It is less painful though when you do it to a 15+ year old truck rather than a < 1 year old one I suppose...I wouldn't know lol.

I don't know how they got the damage, but it's clear it didn't occur all at once. They chose to keep going, so you get what you get. Can't whine about it if you kept actively choosing to continue. Also who cares, it's a truck, and a newish one so he must have decent insurance. Get it fixed and eat the insurance increase if it bugs you, if it doesn't, more power to you but stop whining.

You don't go in, at the age he is (assuming he's not just some kid in his early 20's), in a sketch place with a new truck expecting to come out unscathed.

He knew what he was doing, he knew he'd end up fucking up his truck, and he was cool about it throughout the entire thread.

Some people just have a bigger wallet than us, and to that I'd say hell yeah, I'll live vicariously through this guy

Now do as I would and chop that bed off, armor the fuck out of it, SAS that bitch, put some big ass tires, and make it a damn toy to enjoy.

Yeah it looked like whatever he hit he just kept driving right along side it...doesn't make much sense. If I had done that when I crushed my fender I'd have needed to replace the entire left side
