    I would be willing to bet it is using this old Orangeburg rolled tar paper pipe. Its a root magnet.

    Stock. EZ pass.Dump pass.Inspection sticker.Convict printed lic.plates.FG cap.
    My root clogging was in a 50s built house. PVC wasn't an option but above ground drain pipes were cast iron with oakum and lead seals. The sewer line below ground to street was Terra Cotta with tar and hemp packed joints. Copper sulfate killed the roots but not my trees

    Wouldn't ABS be the material of choice for a replacement line? At least I believe that is what was used when a neighbor had the exact same thing happen. Ended up running a new line completely. Pricey but necessary.

    A few months ago I was watching This Old House or one of those and they had this trench less sewer line repair company demo the process. It was freaking cool but no idea what it'd cost. Or even what requirements there are for it either. It was just cool :D
