The difficult part is removing it from the vehicle. I can’t even imagine trying to remove the u-bolts and eye bolts without an impact.

Yeah yeah yeah, before you say “use a breaker bar” - try doing it on your back in the gravel.

It’s a long way from the 1-Ton truck section to the checkout.

Don't forget the 6 lug unit bearings from spidertrax are $500 per side, all the other stuff for knuckles/spindles/brakes

 

Cut the u bolt. Why would i undo them?

 

Depends on the pick-n-pull you go to. I’ve befriended the gate people at my local one so they can give one less shit about what I bring it.

Some yards are strict. They check you for grinders and parts on the way in.

 

Most Pick-n-Pulls ban grinders.

Then you undo the leafs and just drag that whole bitch out lol. If im luck its got some 63” lol

 

They ban grinders because you can ignite the various leaking fluids around you with the sparks. They don’t care about the cost of the parts you destroy or anything.

Pick-n-Pull is owned by Schnizer Steel. They make their money off chopping the cars up and recycling the metals.

But really though a breaker bar with 6’ extension will eather break the bolt or Break it lose so either way its a win
