We didn't get to do the trail today really, turns out the locked gate code can only be given from the ranger station on weekends so we're gonna go back on Saturday. Today we just followed the highway up the mountain to a few camp sites and turned around when it got blocked off by snow

Best glossy black frame underbody paint to cover, protect rust, go!

Not por15 as it is not UV stable, want it to stay glossy black for a while

preferably something I can brush on for control.

Gotcha. On the 4R, the skid bolts to the front bar running from frame rail to frame rail. That's welded in place from the factory and where the one fubar bolt hole is. I'm gunna get time-serts per @Speedytech7 and see if I can use those to fix all the holes that I managed to fuck up.

That sounds like a solid plan. I had to look up what a time-sert was. And looks like that should do the job good. Let us know how it goes with the time-sert man. Looks very viable

Yeah, I've heard of them before but never used them and forgot about them. My main concern is what size hole the insert needs to bring the bolt size to M8. I'm worried I might have already made it too big and would need to use multiple inserts or some shit. If it comes down to it, I'll just weld some new mounts to the skid and drill new holes elsewhere in the cross brace I guess.

Luckily I had already pulled the E brake and didn't roll, just forgot I was in gear still and stalled.
