It's mostly a guy thing too. Not that many ladies into the scene and the ones who are have totally gone bro with crooked flat bill hats.

It is. The expensive part is going to be replacing the leather on the seats. The driver's side is destroyed and I can't do that side without doing the passenger side to match it. Guy on ebay sells what are supposedly good, nice replacement leather covers that he makes. But looking at $150 to $200 for just the seat back or seat bottom. That's getting into the price range where I might just get Katskinz replacement covers. If I can find a shop that will order them for me.

Yeah work is kewl and powering through work is kewl too, but even kewler is finding folks that appreciate the same kinds of things in life  it's not nearly as easy as it seems.
That's the beauty of internet stuff for me man. I'd have never met all you guys :D

Thats what the autozone tie rods looks like... more expensive than the ball joints $46.99 each

    20200129_101701.jpg

The threads are very satisfying to run your finger across and the steel or whatever it is seems very hard

I expected junk but they seem good

Also playing with it in the hand the dust boot seems vulcanized to the joint

Get a picture of the label and markings. Wouldn't be difficult to see which Chinese parts they put in their Autozone boxes :D

Kind of, you have use both the ball joint and tie rod from either vehicle, not mix and match

Well. It has 4 literally broken struts, the control arm bushings in the front are damn near gone, sway bar is dangling, engine has a rear main and timing cover leak, transmission is leaking, both front axles leaking, power steering rack is pouring fluid out, tie rod ends have play, ball joints have play, hood struts won’t hold the hood and the y-pipe is broke
