Thats like old school pickup width.

But i guess if I measure all axles like that its fine, you need to oull the whee and drum to really measure a axel width

It's done, I've said screw it and done something either genius or ignorant. I've run out of patience trying to sell it and I'm running out of good weather.

I ordered about $1700 worth of parts from Toyota so I can send my Tacoma in for paint. I'm sure I'll be ordering another $500-800 more once we tear into it.

I'll have to keep in another 3 years after this is done, but it will look like new when it's done.

Surely toyota will not take the same path everyone else is and do away with the manual right?

Toyota offers the manual on fewer and fewer trims every year, of course I want them to keep it around forever but it's singing its swan song IMO. Maybe a few more years

Yea, when I was getting rid of my 2000 tacoma from rust on frame. We was looking I was looking for another one and we found the one I have now. Of course we found plenty of v6's with autos and push button 4x4 and I refused those.

I know Nissan still offers then on some Frontiers and Dodge I think still has a baseline Ram model with a manual but they aren't going to be around much longer. Better to accept it and by some miracle be happily surprised than be terribly disappointed when it does go away for good lol.

Hopefully certain sports cars will always have a manual option as long as the EPA or whatever allows it....I don't care how technologically advanced the auto tranmissions are getting, you aren't really driving it if it doesn't have 3 pedals.
