Since the old man came out and you said you preferred chrome over black

I'll limit chrome to a set of wheels, trim (if its factory like 60s or 70s cars), or exhaust tips on a muscle car.

Most chrome I've had was on any of my Corvettes (the factory wheels) and my WS6 (wheels and exhaust).

I had 2 WS6, an '88 with real L98 that I kept stock looking on the outside sans billet wheels and exhaust tips, and a '98 which had the infamous SOTL exhaust since it was the first year LS based WS6.

That LS with pacesetter long tubes and cut outs sounded fucking mean, ran meaner with LS6 heads and cam.

The tuned port injection motors are meh, it's still just Uncle granddad's old 350 Chevy small block beater motor except it doesn't have the useless crossfire setup. But the 90s WS6 is pretty damn cool, it's just such a racy version of an old man car that I can't help but love it.

Man, you probably drove one that was beat up because the long runners are what helped create over 340lbs of torque (that's in stock form).

Sure they ran out of steam passed 4k RPM, but it broke necks leaving every stop light; god forbid you put a stall and a B&M shift kit and that 700R4 was banging through gears in no time.

Crossfire fortunately was only on the Corvette and a 1 year only model.

They're torqey, but that's all they had going for them 80s GM hadn't figured out how to make a V8 meet emissions without turning into a boat anchor in the process. So the C4 got a long tube runner setup, that looks badass BTW, that helped it at least create the illusion of Power with some good grunt but ultimately didn't flow air worth a damn and helped it meet emissions.

You forget that GM had a few other things up their sleeve and catering to a different market of non-Corvette guys-

    GMC Typhoon

    GMC Syclone

and my absolute personal favorite, the only other dream car I'd want that isn't a slant nose coupe 911 is

Maybe....if you're heading down this way soon then I'd take them off your hands, or next time I'm up there. Dont need them enough just yet to ship them though unless you're looking to get rid of em right away

Just looking for an excuse to go somewhere; that and I need a mini vacation already.
