Fucking interesting; some of you guys know I've been working crazier than ever since the other finance manager quit before Thanksgiving.

We've yet to find a replacement but that's ok cause I can run the department solo.

Just last night, our sales manager quit.

We're down to 1 finance director (me) and 1 sales manager at my store now.

It's a big company, but our store moves mainly 120 units a month; 80 or so being new cars.

We normally run 2 finance and 2 sales; average finance manager touches 60-70 car deals a month and since the other guy left, I've been handling those +100 per month.

Now with 1 sales manager, its going to be damn near impossible to get eyes on all the deals brought to the desk since I'll be contracting constantly.

Stuff gets spread to thin and the little things can start to go by wayside but managememt prolly already knows and expects that. Otherwise they'd have addressed it.
Most management is made of all forward thinkers and pro-active types, right? :jerkoff:
I kid I kid, some are okay. But boy can you tell when any company or any department has a high quality management
Nobody can sign off for you besides you right?
My dentist brother in Texas wants me to start a business down there and he wants to back it it whatever.
Could you start a finance dept and that side of things for a little used car dealer? Like where to find the financing and that crap? I gotta do something with him. He's always offered financial backing for anything...

Did any of them have the handle? If not it’s not a huge deal. The tailgate latch I’ll grab a pic when I’m home

FCA is a difficult product to push and sell due to it being naturally unpopular, and high pricing IE Jeep products specifically.

Add to that the fact that a good 40% of our business falls below prime, I have the added challenge of getting these deals funded from lenders asking for everything from the right structure, down payment, high interest, proof of income and residence, and every reference you can muster up.

I've got great relationships with a lot of these lenders which helps my, and the company's success.

It's just going to be a bit more difficult than it has been before...

    @Empty_Lord

Customer accidentally poured 5 gallons of DEF into their fuel tank that had 30 gallons of diesel already in it.

    20200131_090701.jpg

The plastic lines are no worries, but a ton of shit is being replaced. You can see how quickly the DEF crystallizes even when it hit the heated floor -
