The only reason I don't have a standard is because my Tacoma was a gift from my parents when I got my learner's permit; Never look a gift horse in the mouth, or a gift truck in the transmission!

That's what our people already use

I guess what I meant to ask others is, what's the best rub or seasoning you've come across? Not, how do you season your steaks etc lol

People who use their hazards while driving on the interstate in a rain storm are the bane of my existence.

    Shits illegal, yo. And annoying.

I like the tiregate concept, seems really compact. How well does it swing though with the weight of the tire on it, and how big of a tire do you think it can fit/support?

My favorite are the landscapers towing little weight in their trailers who sit in the fast lanes next to HOV with their hazards on, and go 5-10 under when they can easily do the speed limit :)

Floridians tend to do this in a heavy downpour. Makes it easier to see em for sure, since they still go 85mph haha. But yeah for anything other than a hurricane it's not very helpful

I've seen so much stuff fall off landscaping vehicles in AZ, but I'm amazed more semis aren't pulled over. They camp in the fast lanes on hwy 60 and 101

Its a southeast thing as a whole. Any weather conditions other than sunny clear skies = I need to drive with my hazards on.

Being hinged, swinging the tiregate open and closed feels only slightly heavier than a vehicle door. Put that same vehicle at an angle where you have to push the door open, and the door will already feel heavier.

I run a 32" tire though I see guys on the forums run even bigger tires.

I'll say this; my tiregate is way beefier than what these JK and JL Wranglers have and I see them coming in with +35s all day everyday.

Yeah, semis in the fast lane is a pain in the ass here. That is one thing I'll give a nod to CA for, they have reasonable and sane traffic laws, especially regarding semis/vehicles with more than 2 axles and motorcycles (lane sharing).

Turning your hazards on while driving is the equivalent of beginning a statement with "no offense but......"

Just because you turn them on doesn't mean you're excused to drive any which way you want.

We have that issue here too. And on smaller highways with a 55 mph limit they'll do 70 and damn near run people off the road.

Yup. Scared of the rain? Park under a bridge until you feel its safe to proceed like a normal human being.

My absolute favorite though is when people put their hazards on, but not their headlights.

Oh my God, when traffic parks under the overpass and blocks all lanes and the shoulder because the rain is scary it makes me way angrier than it should

    Oof

It's required in my state to turn on your headlights when it's raining.

But yeah I used to do that when I'd ride my motorcycle; park underneath especially if there's a lot of traffic and wait it out a little bit.
