    Here is the tally of before and after measurements:

    Using the 4point method shown in the service manual stock is 1.89" front and 1.97" rear. I was at 1.25" and 0.5" before and now have 1.5" and 2.75". The front doesn't seem quite right, thought I would have been closer to stock if not over. Maybe its because of the issue with the Billies...

    Other dimensions I took...(before/after)
    top of the bed behind the cab 46.25"/48.75"
    door sill 20.25"/23.5":eek:
    top of the fenders/wheel wells :eek::eek::eek:front 35.5"/39.5":eek::eek::eek: rear 36"/38.25"

    Ok....The billies look to be set at the 2.5" setting. This is no bueno with the 881's. You should set them to the .85" setting. Other than that, all looks OK.

    Yeah, still going to drive on them as is for the weekend though. I was undecided for awhile about going either '0' or 0.85"...still leaning towards '0'.
    I'll be down kicking some ass Tuesday and getting things corrected - wanna help?

    i would have them set the billys on the "o" setting...otherwise...the front will stay a tad higher than the rear.

    sooo...taking my truck back tomorrow to get the front end adjusted. quick question about that - will they be able to change the setting on the shock without removing it completely? seems like they should be able to take some of the pressure off of the coils, get access to the adjustment ring and move it down without taking everything apart. or am I crazy?

    since its a shop....they'll prolly remove the assembly and put it back in the coil press to reset them.

    they need to be removed, then the spring compressed to move the ring down. It shouldn't take them more than an hour to do both though.

    edit: tacomaman beat me to it.

    thanks guys! just dont have a lot of faith that this is going to go easily. after all their first estimate of 2 hours for install turned out to be more like 6...

    i never should have left in the first place after the install...but it was raining, they parked my truck over a huge mud puddle and i was in my work clothes so there was no way i could have been crawling around under the truck to inspect things. now i know better...

    sigh...got everything taken care of today...at a different shop. Guys were giving me attitiude so I walked out and went somewhere else. Got treated much better, should have gone there to begin with! Truck looks better and feels better too. Front end was way too stiff before. I will post up some post-install-post-fix photos later when I get a chance!

    I'm just glad its over at this point, and so is my wallet! Time to enjoy the truck once again. I can already see improvements.
