yeah it's a bit confusing. Another thing...when you have your hi beams on, the dash light will not come on. You can fix it by either plugging an OEM bulb into the passenger side plug and leave it in the engine bay or you can use some sort of resistors to mimic a bulb. I just left mine alone as I rarely use my high beams now anyway.

so I just got all my stuff,
    about to start the adventure.

Assembling and deassembling the lights is not my worry, all those fucking cords get my confused. Power/3prong I know. Ballast is labeled, the ground (red wire) obvious, but the projector has a female.. 2 cords are attached to my projector, i assume I need to wire them up to additional male connector?

Has anyone had problems with the solenoid sticking on high? I test fit everything and cycles from high to low I can't remember how many times before I sealed the housing back up. They worked fine for about an hour and then it wouldn't cycle. I searched and it seems to be a very common problem that requires taking the projector apart:( So I spent all night Friday and almost all day yesterday putting these things in just for them to function properly for about an hour. Anyone know of any way to fix this problem without going straight to jail do not pass Go and do not collect $200? (Aka starting the hell over from scratch)

that's a possible solution if it's stuck on high

you'll know when your highs are on

Well it's not a wiring problem that i am having, at least its not acting like a wiring problem. I think the solenoid is getting in a bind on something and not being able to cycle back to low. When you dim them you can tell the solenoid is moving some but just not enough. You can flash between high and low rapidly and it will eventually free itself up. Iv heard that you have to sand the plunger (What ever the crap that is?) and bend some tabs out a little to help prevent binding. But that all requires disassembling everything again:(

Can you get to it from where the bulb goes in? Just wondering like if you had like a small piece of flexible tube you may could reach the shield and use that silicone grease?

I don't think so. the opening for the bulb is really small, and the shield is farther in, directly under the glass
