Alright i know this is a dead horse but my truck has some surface rust underneath. i took a big flat head and beat at some of the rust to see if it was really bad and took a hammer to the side of the frame and it seems to be good to go i wired brushed all the rust and then sparyed it with Rustoleum Undercoating think i am good to go?

You should be good in that area for now but i would start searching the whole truck for more. And if you do find more i would take it to Toyota and see if they are still taking frame recalls.

The real rust problems were from the inside of the frame rails. The ones that fail rusted out from the inside.
