Here's a picture of my amp before I re-ran the wire runs under the carpet and added some wire loom.

    - Amp sits under the passenger seat.
    - Ground wire bolts into a seat bolt, I recently switched to using the rear left bolt on the passenger seat (on the transmission tunnel).
    - Power wire is run through a fuse immediately after the positive terminal, I used the Rockford Fosgate fuse holder below. There is a rubber grommet on the driver's side of the firewall that you can use to run your power cable, just poke a little hole in it. I then ran the power cable under the driver's scuff plate, under the carpet towards the center console and then exiting the carpet near the amp.

    41TGfHa3dGL._AC_.jpg

    - The remote wire, and audio signal wires can be run from your stereo down the center console and out the side or rear of the center console.
    - I have my subwoofer (Pioneer TS-SWX3002) siting on the rear passenger jump seat. The low profile sub sounds good for the size, but I'm planning to build a box so that I can place stuff on top of the subwoofer if I need extra space in the rear.

I was able to fit these under the front seats with no issues. You can't see them unless the chair is pulled all the way forward. I went for something small so I did not have to sacrifice a seat. Anything bigger and I would've just put the box on top of one of the rear seats. I'm happy with the little powered sub. I wasn't looking to shake my teeth loose.

Is there a way to fit 2)8” subwoofers in a box behind the front seats down firing and having the box create a flat floor all the way across so that no to lose storage space and ability to lay stuff back there like gym bags an shit?I been wanting to build a box for some 8s or 10s but I really want it to look clean and flat across the back but I don’t know if there is enough space

Check out post #11 and #14. They are both 2nd gens but the design should still work for our trucks.

I've got a custom made sub enclosure with dual Pioneer 8" shallow mount subwoofer in my 02 DC Pre Runner . I also have a Alpine MRV M500 amp under my pass seat and a Alpine MRV F300 amp under the driver's seat . The Head unit is a Pioneer 8400 and my system sounds awesome
