Hey, current or previous 1st Gen Tundra owners. Quick question I’ve gotten two different answers for in researching:

Does putting on a +1 tire (265/65-17 to 265/70-17) correct the Odo the same way it does on every year Tacoma?

Ive owned a 93 Pickup, 1st Gen, and multiple 2nd Gen Tacomas and the Odo/Speedo has always been more accurate after the roughly 3% taller tire.

On my 4Runner it is less accurate after the +1 bump in tire size.

So I was wondering if any Tundra owners can help me confirm or deny if the Tundra is the same as the Tacoma.

I understand it’s negligible and doesn’t really matter too much. I’m just trying to get to the bottom of this so I know once and for all and don’t have to wonder any more ha.

I’m waiting for the right 2nd Gen Taco or 1st Gen Tundra to pop up as a next road trip vehicle for the wife and I (4Runner is getting high in both miles and repair bills).

    Coincidently, anyone selling a well-kept 05-06 DC Tundra? :D
