Anyone tried using Lasfit canbus error free LED bulbs purely for amber turning signals? Would 3156 or 3157 ambers work best, I have smoked tint bumper corners now.

Just did this, now to get corner markers to mimic the blinkers like you did.

    Workin' on it ;)
Howdy yall! Looking to see if i can get some advice on wiring these LED switch back halos i purchased. It comes with a driver that has three wires that i assume are ground, turn signal and the constant white light. But where do i tap into for the turn signal and the constant white light? What wires am i looking for? I have a 04 tacoma and also just to make note of it i have the silly DTRL function too. Any advice is appreciated! :)

Regarding where to tap for signals, in own vehicles I never cut factory wiring. To get turn signals, I like to make a male to female adapter at the bulb and tap into that. If it ever needs troubleshooting, all my changes can be easily reversed using this approach.

I have also soldered onto several base pins of relays in the box and run the wire out from there. That way the box is easily changed back to stock, just put new relays in. I tapped into a pin that becomes active when the key is on this way for halos and made sure it was fused appropriately. You can use a relay to deactivate this signal when the headlights are on since it is said that the headlight heat can age the halo LEDs if the halos are active with the headlights.

A lot of people just cut into wires in random places, which becomes a nightmare fast if you try to backtrack what happened. Those taps that cut into the insulation and add a sister wire in parallel fit in this category too.

Decide first if you want it fast or clean and use that as a guide.
