1st Gen Visor Insert

Does anyone know a part# for the original visor insert for a Gen 1 4wd of have one they want to get rid of? This is the picture of mine from my 99 4wd. I'd like to replace with a like new one.

 

Not sure if you can buy a new one but you could possibly remake it on Microsoft word or something and print it on card stock. That’s what I would do, and you wouldn’t have to pay anything. Good luck though if that doesn’t work out

 

I love the old school little touches like that placard...maybe someone on TW still has one they can scan to PDF and you, me, all of us could just reprint them on card stock.

 

Mine is in perfect shape and I can scan and upload on Tuesday if no one gets to it before then.

 

This is pretty cool! I always wondered what the purpose of the pocket was for. What are the dimensions of the card?

 

That would be awesome if you would do that. Or if anyone has a vehicle they are parting out and wants to send one to me.

 

I may have a spare one in good condition.

 

I also have a mint version as well as the mint sticker on the driver door that details the locker or similar 4WD operation. More than happy to scan it for you if other offers fall thru.

Never mind. The one I have is an old school one with manual hubs and auto trans.


Also found a zerk one but it's trash.

 

The driveline greasing one is pretty cool. Where did you find that on your truck? haven’t seen that one before

 

I think I found it in a 2nd gen 4runner. Here is one you could print onto photo paper and it'll be like new.

 

Attached is a scan (touched up in Photoshop) of the original single-sided card that came with my '03 DC 4x4.

Original size is: 5.375"x3.375
