Looking to buy (hopefully affordable from autozone or Oreillys) a floor jack and some jack stands.

Just wondering what size (weight limit) of each I should get.

    Never bought any before.

    Thanks

We've got 2 3-ton floor jacks and a pair of 6-ton jack stands. The smaller jack stands aren't tall enough.

*edit* Also, it's better to have a jack thats too big then too small. The 2-ton's we have sometimes aren't quite tall enough.
