I have a 99 taco with a busted windshield washer reservoir. It's all cracked and leaks more than the titanic. I've been to multiple auto parts store and nobody has it. I've also gone to multiple junk yard and it seems that every single truck I was able to find also had a cracked tank. I wonder if it is a defect. I've even seen tacos for sale with the same issue. Does anybody know where I could find one?

Google this "Tacomaworld windshield washer reservoir replacement" I did and found where you can take that old one out and replace with a different style that sits in the engine bay on the fender. I was even able to use existing holes to mount it. Looks OEM. Heck - maybe a picture I posted of it will show up somewhere. lol Hands down one of the best mods. My suspension flexes more than stock and smashed my old one. Hence the "bad design" idea. Good luck!

I was able to get away with just using fusion tape on the filler neck. Only part of the assembly that was cracked on my vehicle.

Same here. The original reservoir's neck became a brittle and cracked like a spider web. That was in 2004 so no more than 9 years old. I got new EOM (from a dealer) and this one is still solid (15 years and counting). It must be the plastic used originally was not the best choice but obviously they fixed it in no later than 2004.

Yep, I took out my old one (also cracked), and got a new one (Amazon link above) to relocate it to the engine bay to make room for my new bumper.

If you have abs, you have to move (bend) the bracket a little, or you could drill new holes. I used a riv-nut to re-mount the ABS bracket.
