Hi, are all 1st generation Tacoma bucket seats the same. I have a 2000 prerunner single cab with buckets and the center console. Do they all bolt right in? Thanks

All the 1st gen tacoma (95.5-04) buckets have the same seat bolt pattern. There are "limited" or sometimes called "sport" buckets that are nicer, but they bolt in all the same. SOME trucks don't have all the bolt holes drilled for buckets. These would typically be the base model trucks, maybe even just the 5lugs with the 2RZ.

3rd gen 4Runner (96-02) buckets can somewhat bolt in. The 2 inside rail feet will mount no problem, the outside rail feet need some work. The front one sits at about 45 degrees to the floor and needs to be bent down to 90. The rear one is off by 1.5". I make brackets to bolt this last one down. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/4runner-seat-adapters.622390/

This would only apply to regular cab trucks with full-width bench seats. I think all extended cab trucks had either 60/40 split benches or buckets, and split benches use the same holes as buckets.

My '98 regular cab is missing the two forward mounting holes on the trans tunnel. The cab still has visible reinforcements on the underside where the welded nuts would be, so someone sufficiently motivated could drill holes and add them.

I'm unsure if the same is true of all regular cabs, but I'd guess it is. Without any bolts in place there would simply be holes through the floor.

Keep in mind that even if the seats bolt in, the seat belts are not all interchangeable. In your case, since you're swapping buckets to buckets, you should be able to swap the receivers from your old seats to your new seats if needed.
