I made some brackets to bolt 3rd gen 4runner seats into my 99 1st gen Tacoma.

The issue with bolting 4runner seats into a 1st gen Tacoma is mostly related to the outside rear mounts. These are 1.5" off from the stock floor bolt hole. The front mounts can be easily bent to match up the the stock holes, but this outside rear mount is just too far away.

Would anyone be interested in something like this? These are laser cut from 1/4" steel and are very precise. They use a 3/8"x1.5" carriage bolt to attach the the 4runner seat bracket, and then have a .5" hole to accommodate the stock floor bolt with a little bit of wiggle room.

Current Price $30 plus $8.55 USPS priority flat rate shipping

Order in my online store: http://nzbsculpture.com/store/4runner-seat-adapters

    (2) powder coated brackets, (2) grade 8 carriage bolts, (2) washers, (2) grade 8 nuts.

Did I mention how much I love welding with my big millermatic 220v welder when I weld things to other things? :luvya:

Where is that dislike button I've been asking the mods for. Obviously when I've 'reported' you the mods haven't done anything :luvya: lol

Most important thing, I know if I was in Denver Wulf would help me l weld things if needed
But these brackets look promising and open up a many more options for us, trying to keep my post kinda on topic at least

I need to run some numbers on the garnet cost for the waterjet, but I was thinking somewhere around $15 or $20 with the carriage bolt hardware.

I’m going to get some pictures this weekend and add them to the first post.

That sounds more than reasonable, esp with hardware.

    Count me in.

I've never even sat in 4runner seats but I'm sure they're better than Tacoma seats.

So I made 6 initial sets of these for sale. These will come with the following:
    (2) textured black 1/4" steel 4runner seat adapters
    (2) 3/8"x3/4" carriage bolts
    (2) 3/8" flange nyloc nuts
    (2) 3/8" washers

    The cost will be
$20 Shipped (PayPal friends + family)
$21 Shipped (PayPal goods + services)

PLEASE NOTE THIS PICTURE HAS A 1" BOLT. I reduced the length to 3/4" so it wouldn't stick up.

I ONLY HAVE 3 SETS LEFT AND I WILL NOT BE MAKING MORE UNTIL MOST LIKELY NEXT YEAR.
If you want a set, send me a private message. I will be going by messaging times, not by posts in this thread. First come first served.

Bit of a bummer I find these now as I let very nice set go at a pick n pull like a year ago. But I excited I get more options to finally get some comfy buckets in this thing:D
Which seats did you go with yourself?

    What's funny is I bought a set because;

I'm sure 4runner seats are much more comfortable than our Tacoma seats, I mean anything must be better right?

They are way cheaper than those spacers for over a hundred bucks?

It's a mod I get to do at some point when I'm really, really, really bored?
