    let me clarify... my typing got ahead of my brain. i am about to put it in my taco. i ran it in my z71 for years with no issues. same goes for my other toys as well.

    as for the oil filter, i will most likely run the k&n or wix. leaning more toward the k&n though. i dont get off road in my truck, so dirt and dust isnt an issue with me. on the z71 though, i change the filter every 3000 miles, and top off the oil level, usually 1/2 quart or so. i change the oil every 9000-12000 miles, depending on how it looks.

    Okay. Thanks for the clarification.
    I know a few people here that run Royal Purple. Just curious to see what kind of oil filter you would use with Royal Purple. I myself use Mobil1 oil & oil filter.
