I'm not sure how to answer this one... I'll give it a shot though. I drove off of the pavement and onto dirt then proceeded through a small puddle of water on the way out I hit a bump which resulted in the following:

Must have been one hell of a bump!

Do you think it might of cracked the weld at 1 point and it just took some time to fully break?

Damn thats crazy man. I figured you were going on rocks and got all of the weight on one side of the front then it snaped not going in a puddle. lol Now I'm all nervous to take my truck out unless i can come up with $550 to buy this guy in Mesa 2.5 SAWs. Fuck And I'm supposed to go to Sedona on Sunday and take picks of my truck on this trail up there.

The breakage on 06Bluez truck is not unique. I have seen a few of these happen due to top plate spacer lifts.

theres nothing wrong with a coil spacer lift. I had one on my truck for 2 years.;) Im not a huge fan of the Top Load spacers.

I have had a Daystar top spacer lift on my Taco for about 70K miles with no problems yet, other than having to get alignments done a little too often. I don't really do any hard off-roading. It may be a bit of a gamble, but for the money it's hard to beat.
