Hey I recently purchased a pair of Bilstein 5100s for the front and Im trying to decide whether to do a 1.75 inch lift or a 2.5 inch lift. I would prefer the 2.5 but I dont have enough money to buy some upper control arms. Is not having upper control arms with a 2.5 inch lift really a problem?

probably because of the taco lean. Driver + gas tank on left side = lower.

Yep, me too. I have a 3" on mine and dont have any issues other than caster being just slightly off.

It won't make it look weird. Measure your truck now. I'll bet it sits about 1/2 to 3/4 inches lower on the driver's side. A 1/4" spacer will even it back up.

As for UCAs. I'm at 2.5 with 5100s and my passenger side ran out of caster adjustment when I went to get it aligned. I may get some UCAs down the road but for now it drives fine to me.
