Does anyone use Journal Bearing turbos anymore? Seems like most people are recommending BB but those things are pretty expensive!

    Garrett, Precision, Turbonetics.Possibly Borg Warner.

I recommend Garrett and Borg Warner as the premier choices.

So which kit should I get. I think a turbo would be better on mpg then a supercharger

Turbo is always better than S/C. Just more complicated. I like the OZ kit but the LCE comes with a better turbo. IMO, I'm edging to the Oz but I think both will put a smile on your face.

I looked at the LCE kit. Doesn't seem that complicated. Just a bit lore work as far as getting oil to the turbo

Getting the oil drain is the most complicated part of the whole process. You have to drop your diff to remove the oil pan, clean it, drill it, weld it, then put it all back together again. I don't know how the 2nd gen is but the 1st gen was a bitch to drop the front diff.

Check out the koracing kit as well. Build time can take a little while depending on how backed up they get, but I think it's worth it if you're looking at a bolt on application. I was looking into this set up but decided just to piece together a custom set up instead.
