2.7 cheap mods?

    anybody have any tips for a stock 2.7? i'll spend a few bucks if its worth it but any tips will help. thanks

    plasti dipped wheel caps,
    are you talking about trying to get a lil more performance? for extra power, while driving, try shifting into 3rd, 2nd, or low, you know, besides "D" (drive). maybe see about a "deckplate mod". i don't know how to or anything like that, but one guy said he was more or less surprised with the improvement/mod. i myself have the 2.7 4 banger love it :) good luck

    high flow air filter,4"deck plate mod,chrome nerf bars.
    I did the deck plate mod on mt 2.7 and so far i've been happy . cast me total about $12 and about 30 minutes

    K&N filter,-JDM tailights, NGK Spark Plugs, 6k H.I.D head light kit, fog light kit
    change out your intake and filter, full exhaust mod as well

    either that or just change your filter for the k&n and get the tornado for the throttle body gives you some power difference.

    go on youtube and check out deck plate mods.i did it on my 99 2.7 and it is very cheap and simple to do if you have the couple tool needed it only takes 30 min or less and is heck of alot cheaper than cold air intake!!

    What do you guys use to cut a 4in hole in your airbox with to do this deckplate mod?

    I used the deck plate and held it to my air cleaner box and traced around it on the outside with some white out and then used a small drill bit and drilled out my white circle and used some foam tape inbetween the deck plate and air box to seal it off.worked great for me !
