    Thats life funny thing I sold my dcsb for a regular cab and bam next month my wife is pregnant. Luckily she has a sedan but I wish I had something I could someday take the family camping in.

    4x4 van and the regular cab can be a chase vehicle. At least that's my plan to keep my regular cab if I ever get married lol ;)

    Im looking to mount the same CB in the very same spot. Have any wisdom? I'm going to mount the antenna in a different place though. Going with a whip instead. Looks like you used hook and pile tape to mount. Any knowledge you could pass on would certainly not go to waste.

    Sorry for the super late response. Don't come on here much nowadays. Location worked well except that it requires a more permanent means of attachment. At first I tried double sided sticky tape, then Velcro. Neither was strong enough, especially with off road vibration. I ended up wedging a piece of rubber on the underside/bottom, which actually held radio very well in place, and looked rather clean.
