Looking to buy a set of bilstein 5100's and OME 885 coils just for the front. Will this let 285/75/16 fit?

The worst I could see is some very minor trimming may be necessary. But I'd wait till someone with that setup chimes in

Trimming will definitely be necessary. Chopping and hammering as well probably. Look into the cab mount chop (CMC) and hammering the pinch weld. This is common to do in order to clear that size.

As far as the suspension, that's exactly what I'm running, so this is what you should expect. My tire size is 265/70r17 if you're wondering.

Don't let trimming/CMC scare you away though. It's not bad

Agreed! It's not bad, just be prepared for it. Would hate for you to order the tires and not know about it. I also just reread your OP. Are you planning on doing anything in the rear? If not, it'll look like this.

Not planning to lift the back just the front. Would that require me to do any trimming in the back to fit 33's?

I'm going to assume you're not off roading at all?

To be honest, I'm not sure if they'll fit with no lift in the rear. I assume so, but I'd go take a tape measure out there and see how wide the wheel wells are.

Since you're a Prerunner, you should look into the Maxtrac spindle lift. You can get 4" of lift and then you'll fit 33's no problem. You should lift the rear though if you go that route.

Thanks will take that advice and go with the lift in the back. How many inches do suggest?

Depends. I'm guessing since you weren't planning on originally lifting the front, you're fine with a little bro lean? If so, you'd be fine with a 2" AAL and a 5100 back there. That's what I've got and that'll either level you out or you'll be juuuuuust a little bit nose high.

@Rick_C420 I had 285s in the back for a short time before lifting the rear and I was off road a lot. I only got in one situation where it rubbed.

Are your wheels 17x9 or 17x8? I'm picking up Bilsteins, 887's, and a 3 leaf AAL pack. I'm a fan of 17" wheels but am not sure what width (and maybe an offset) to get if I get 275/70/r17 KO2s, or even the 265's.

Mine are 17x8 with 0 offset, which translates to 4.5" backspacing. They're perfect IMO! If you get 275, you'll likely have to trim a bit. Not sure on CMC though with that size
