It is more complicated than that. It creates money for the Jail And overloads the entire Justice System. For each inmate the Jail receives a said amount of money from the Feds. It really is a fucked up system.

I can't tell if this was mentioned among all the arguing about what should be done to the guy.
But the first suspect that died was interviewed by the FBI at the request of a foreign government 2 years ago. He was suspected of being an Islam Extremist and thought to be preparing to go overseas to join a group. He and his family were interviewed but nothing showed terrorist activity or thoughts.

I would not buy anything with "made in prison" stamped on the back, plus what leverage do you have on a prisoner to make them work and do a good job.

This kid is scared to death and is now starting to realize he had it retty damn good before he started listening to his big brother. He was a really nice, normal kid as recent as a couple years ago. My stepson went to middle school with him in Cambridge. This kid had lots of friends, he was pretty sharp minded as well. It is all so very sad. He is Fucked now.:(

They're always such "nice kids". It was refreshing to hear the uncle say they were "losers" and that at least the older one deserved what he got.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
I think the difference is intent. I have yet to see US sanctioned mass murders of civilians in order to succumb a body of people through terror.

Im not sure what your point is but I will agree that hate begets hate. These wars will never overcome the ideology of radical jihadists. In fact, since 2001, I would say radicalism has spread/grown due to our military operations. I think the US Government has figured this out as well. An ideology can only be defeated by a better ideology......

I say if everyone hates America so much, we should stop giving aid to anyone and withdraw all our troops from every nation they're in. Figure out your own crap, find a new cash cow. Or, as the picture that is going around on Facebook claims that Robin Williams said...

I didn't suggest that the US uses tactics similar to those of the bomber / terrorists targetting civilians

My point was that I don't see how the death penalty for the bomber is somehow morally unacceptable while killing them before they reach US shores is OK

I think they are both the same thing just on a different patch of dirt

But then, what's the correct course of action to prevent these kinds of things from happening.
there isnt really a "right", morally acceptable reason for way or killing people in the first place.
