Tomorrow I'll be going to get 2inch spacers on a 2013 Tacoma TRD sport that has had a 3" leveling kit and 285s put on and I have a few concerns on how they will fit. I've heard they will rub. Will they even work?

They will rub the Cab mount, inside(back and front) fender as well as the cab. thats a really big spacer.

Why would you want a 2" spacer?

I got the same question...many run 1.25 spacers and some run 1.5 like me. I think anything greater than 1.5 can wear out your axles much faster due to the change in weight loads. Unless you are going to run fiberglass fenders, I think 2 inches is a little wide.

The body shop is the one that suggested the 2" spacers

Wow really? Did they specify why? From a mechanical standpoint, 2 inch spacers cause a lot of strain on your axles. The farther your tires are spaced out, the more out of whack you affect the distribution of the trucks weight.
