I pulled mine off, loaded a washer and dryer, rolled it up and shoved it on the side of the bed.

Tried the LED strips under bed rails and they looked great but burned out in a year. Ones I have now are 8" Shoreline submersibles. They are wired to come on when doors are open.

Unfortunately I don't. I had enough laying around from my previous 2 FJ Cruisers that I pieced together a matching set. Most if not all probably came from superbrightleds.com.

For the people that have recommended the bed mat, why do you recommend it? I'm trying to figure out what upgrades/parts I should get

It's not. I play hockey and bed mat is not an issue.

Only issue would be if you play goalie and don't have a wheeled bag. Trying to get pads and bag in might be a pain. But then again you never have crawl into back of the bed to pull the bag out.

Put something in your bed, drive around a bit, and you'll see why the mat is highly recommended by many people.

The composite bed floor acts like a kind of slip and slide wherein anything you put in the bed will not stay in place without strapping it down. If you plan to actually put anything in the bed and don't want to use tie downs and bungee cords for everything the bed mat is for you.

I'm about to go search for this, but since you might have a quick link for me. How'd you do the fog lights on with High beam mod? Thanks,

I use this helmet mount on my gopro everyday to carry my radar detector, saved me a lot. You can probably use it attach any number of other different devices.

    Cheers!

    That's pretty clever.

I don't plan on using a gopro there but if I could mount other things...

    Thanks

I'm thinking one ticket saved is enough to justify the cost. If a rubber mat in the bed of a truck is life changing so is this.

Like so many others, I would say the bed mat is my top choice.

I am surprised, however, no one has said the Pop & Lock power tailgate lock. That's my number two pick.

    Product page: http://www.popandlock.net/power-tailgate-lock/toyota-power/toyota-power-tacoma/tacoma-power-16-17
    It's currently $85 on Amazon.

    Notes:
    1. Note the part number (PL8535). It is the Tundra part, but it does work on the Tacoma. Many sites, including Amazon, will tell you it won't work, but it does.
    2. The product only comes with Tundra install instructions. Because of this, search on TW and YouTube for Tacoma install instructions. There is a PDF from the manufacturer for Toyota dealers.
