2000 Power Door Locks or Car Alarm?

    I just got a 2000 PreRunner and it does not have power locks on in it. I was wanting to see if any body has tried to put in the factory power locks from an other Tacoma? Is the whole wiring harness different? I know it would be easier to have car alarm installed, but I think I would like the factory power locks a little more.
