Bam!! I bet there arent too many Tacomas that are actually from Tacoma. My 2000 Toyota Tacoma V6 Ext Cab 4x4 5 speed is. Too bad the perrywinkle color of it totally voids all the coolness of a Tacoma being from Tacoma. Whats worse is I bought it from a Navy guy...:p haha! Oh well.

I'm actually in Tucson, AZ now brought down here from orders from the Air Force. Im a weather forecaster driving a perrywinkle truck (cant get much lamer then that).

Alright, but seriously, other then the color, I love that truck! Ive had it for about 2 1/2 months. Very capable Off roading ability from what Ive seen so far - though Id like to do alot more. I took it to a ATV staging area and had some fun on one of the trails (probally not the wisest choice, but I came out unscathed). That truck is just magnificant! 84K miles on it and I expect to drive it till one of us dies. I love the truck but hopefully it goes first. :D

Anywho, Im still in the midst of making it my own still. I plan to do alot of camping here in Tucson so Ill definately be using that 4x4 feature. Ive been toying around with the idea of different mods to throw on it, but I really need to stick with the basics. It needs a few matnience things like shocks and what not so Ill be asking for advice later on. Anywho, I just wanted to say hello to the TacoWorld Community, so "Hello!". Also, If anyone is from around the Southern Arizona area, Id love to hear about all your Taco adventures!
