Sorry if this topic has been discused already, I searcherd but did not really come up with a good answer.

My truck 2001 Taco 4x4 V6 Auto TRW (49,000 miles) is making a squeeling sound like the power steering pump is low or out of fluid. The resivor is full so I assume the screen is plugged.?. I tried to find a break down of the pump online but didn't really find anything with much detail. I would think I can just clean the screen and all will be fine unless it is the kind you have to replace it all together..Does the resivor come off the pump without pulling the pump or do you have to pull the whole pump and resivor off to get the resivor off the pump??? Any tips would be helpful!!
Please advise and thank you for your help in advance.
