2001 Tacoma fuel pump assembly

I bought this for the fuel level sender from it. What you see is what you get! It appears to be in good shape.

Do you know if it is off a 2wd or 4wd Tacoma? I know there are different tanks.

Shows I need 95-2000 4x4 reg cab. Says it's not compatible. I'm not sure what's different based on your pictures. Do you have any other pictures?

 

I can get some more later, and I will get the part number if it's still readable.

 

5lug 2wd's have a 15 gallon tank prerunners and 4x4s have an 18 gallon tank. It is 2 inches deeper so the pump assembly is longer.

I checked the pump, and the part number has rubbed off. But as far as I recall, it came from a 4x4 truck.

 

It looks like mine has a nut on high pressure line. I will have to keep looking.

 

I wonder what changed from 95-00 01-04 .... I have a 97 4x4 . Hmmm

 

They should be the same across those years for 4WD vehicles. 2WD are different as someone pointed out.
