2002 Tacoma Gas Mileage

    OK, Bought a 2002 SR 5 Toyota Tacoma 3 weeks ago and getting bad gas mileage.

    19 gallon tank and 240 miles to a tank, not good.

    Replaced the MAF sensor and getting a new 02 sensor on Wednesday,

    The O2 downstream sensor is in now and the wrong one.


    Any ideas ? on how I can get better gas mileage? What are you guys getting ?

    camper shell, front camera, floor mats, cheap bed mat, dash camera, catalytic converter cover, fumoto
    Engine size, mods (lift,etc), tire size, transmission, driving habits all make a difference. Your gas mileage is not out of line compared to some on here. You are getting something north of 12 mpg, assuming you fill it before the tank is empty.
